Are Your Workouts Making You More Fatigued?

Fatigue is the way our bodies tell us that something is wrong. Our bodies are extremely sensitive to all kinds of stress.

Stress comes in all forms, emotional, mental, physical. While exercise is wonderful for both your mind and body it is also a form of physical stress. If you feel especially fatigued or weak after exercise that could be a sign you may be pushing yourself to hard. Overtime our bodies become burned out and overworked.

Research shows that after 1 hour of exercise cortisol levels Spike dramatically! Cortisol is released to compensate when the body is under large amounts of stress and is one of the hormones responsible for excess weight gain.

Research also indicates men and women over the age of 35 are more likely to experience this phenomenon than younger adults. One way to reduce this stress on your body is to limit your workouts to under an hour at one time.. You should feel energized and happy after your workouts never fatigued.
